Privacy
This site lets you play the opening of The Founder's Fork and, if you want, leave your email address to get the launch-day link. It is run by Ken Nguyen through AgileXPress LLC. This page says what is collected, why, who handles it and for how long.
Last updated 26 October 2026.
If you only read and play
Nothing about you is collected to identify you. There is no account, no sign-in and no tracking.
- No tracking cookies. The site sets no cookies for advertising or analytics.
- Anonymous counts. When you take a first and a second road, the site adds one to a tally for that road, for example "first road: Section 31". The tally has no name, address, device or time attached. Once enough readers have played, the site may show how readers split. These counts are kept.
- On your own device. Your browser may keep a copy of the site so it opens quickly or offline. The page does not save your choices; they are gone when you close it. Anything kept stays in your browser and is not sent to us. Clearing your browser's site data removes it.
- Hosting logs. Like every website, the servers at DreamHost, our host, record standard request logs (IP address, page requested, browser type, time) to keep the site running and secure. We do not use them to follow readers.
If you sign up
When you ask for the launch-day link, we collect:
- Your email address.
- What you agreed to. The exact signup wording is stored by its version number, so there is a record of what you said yes to.
- Series updates, only if you ticked that box. Without the tick you get only this book's launch emails and nothing about later books.
- Your founder instinct and your road. The instinct your two choices pointed to (for example, The Listener) and the road you took (for example, Section 31 then Section 49), so the launch email can speak to the path you chose.
- Where you signed up, for example from your route card.
We do not ask for your name, and we never collect payment details.
Nothing is sent until you confirm. You first get one email asking you to confirm. If you don't click it, you are not on the list and get nothing more.
What we send. The confirmation, then emails about this book's launch only: the Kindle link on launch day, December 8, a few more in December, and one in January if the price drops again. If you ticked series updates, news when new Founder's Fork books come out (about one a month). Every email has an unsubscribe link.
Why we may use it. Your consent. You can withdraw it at any time with the unsubscribe link or by writing to us.
Who handles your data
- Kit (ConvertKit) keeps the mailing list and sends the emails, on our behalf. Your signup details are stored in Kit, not on our own server. See Kit's privacy policy.
- DreamHost hosts this site (see hosting logs above).
We do not sell your data or share it with anyone else.
Protecting the signup form
To stop the form being used to send email to people who did not ask for it, the server briefly counts requests per IP address (for the form's one-time code, the road tally and signups) and signup attempts per email address and email domain. It never stores the address itself, only a scrambled code made with a secret key that changes every day. These counts are deleted after 48 hours.
How long we keep things
- Unconfirmed signups: deleted from Kit after 30 days, in a monthly clean-up.
- Confirmed signups: until you unsubscribe, or until we stop sending book news, whichever comes first.
- Abuse-protection counts: 48 hours.
- Anonymous road tallies: kept.
Your choices
- Unsubscribe with the link in any email.
- Ask what we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, by writing to info@goagilexpress.com. We will answer within 30 days.
This site is meant for adults. Please don't sign up if you are under 16.
Changes
If this page changes in a way that matters, we will update the date at the top. If the signup wording changes, the new version applies only to people who sign up after the change.
